decided to get the maker license for solidworks since it's on sale anyway ($24 for the year, down from $48) so now it's time to distract myself from all the projects i should be doing with even more projects i can now do

I've gotten so many weird things from work. Shelves. Bottles. Garbage disposal. Speakers. UPS battery backup. Giant ring bearing. It doesn't offset how much the job itself has drained from me but it's a weird set of tiny opportunities to have.
