Hellebuyck's return won't turn this Jets season around if all he brings is his excellent goaltending. His return will also have to turn around the Jets' overall vibe and sharpness through some sort of hockey alchemy. The roster of skaters has been far from good enough, excepting 55, 81, 13 and 44.

Unfortunate that the Jets didn't get a more solid goaltending performance tonight. Jets skaters have given a good effort.

Can we talk about DeMelo? He's really hurting the Jets. His two giveaways in the 1st shift led to the Stars' first goal, and followed with another stick penalty after the Jets had fought back into the game. It's not good enough.

I expect Salomonsson to be pulled tonight, with the explanation that it's back-to-back.
Admittedly, Salomonsson has had some challenges adjusting, though Stanley is a difficult partner to adjust to.

Seems to me that JAD makes a lot of bad plays with the puck. Aimless passes and failures to get pucks deep.
