This is how our government has been corrupted:

1) Donors give huge sums to elect politicians to office.
2) Elected officials rewrite the rules in the donors' favor.
3) Donors make a huge profit.
4) Repeat.

For the sake of democracy, we must get Big Money out of politics.

Tesla earned $2.3 billion in the United States in 2024.

You'd think it paid a lot in taxes, right?

Well it paid precisely $0 in federal income taxes last year.

You want waste and fraud? Look at what some big corporations and the rich are getting away with.
Tesla Paid Zero Federal Income Tax in 2024, Despite $2.3 Billion in Income
This brings Tesla’s average tax rate over the past three years to 0.4 percent.

Unelected Pres Musk and VP Felon are all about the emails now. All I can say is, but Hillary!?!

Hypocrisy at its fucking best.

How is this even legal? 🤦‍♀️
Schiff: Just today we learned that some list of officers at the CIA was sent to The White House in an unclassified e-mail.

Now, I remember when Donald Trump was always talking about Hillary's e-mails. What about this e-mail?

it really is appropriate to view this as potentially the biggest privacy and cybersecurity scandal in American history
“Thomas Shedd, a former Tesla engineer who has been tapped to lead a technology team at G.S.A., told some staff members that he hoped to put all federal contracts into a centralized system so they could be analyzed by artificial intelligence”
Our deep dive into Musk's takeover: Even some officials who like what Musk is doing feel helpless to hold him accountable. His allies are diving in to agencies, gaining access to systems, planning layoffs, and proposing a sweeping AI initiative to review contracts. www.nytimes.com/2025/02/03/u...

Where did all the water go after it was released from two dams? My colleagues and I looked into the sudden water releases ordered by Trump, and here is what we found: www.latimes.com/environment/... @jessicagarrison.bsky.social @sean-greene.bsky.social @latimes.com #CAwater
The water unexpectedly released from dams on Trump’s order didn't help farms or L.A.
The Trump administration abruptly sent water flowing from two California dams. The action could leave less water in dams for the summer, when farmers typically use it.
