I honestly think Musk’s destruction of USAID is less about his vendetta from them helping end Apartheid and more that Musk is a foreign agent and he is helping our adversaries while enriching himself

Hear me out —

If parents call colleges freaked about their FAFSA data being leaked, schools may have to issue statements — which would reach a whole lot more families about how warped this is.

Organizing isn’t always calling electeds. Sometimes it’s just calling people with a bigger megaphone.
Musk staff have access to student aid data now.

The CEO of American Airlines said this in a statement: “I thank President Trump for his leadership on aviation safety.”

That’s like the head of an animal rescue thanking Cruella De Ville for her leadership on pet safety. This is what life in a dictatorship looks like.

More of this please!!
Governor Glenn Youngkin two years ago revived Virginia's policy of lifetime disenfranchisement, which had been crafted by an explicitly racist constitutional convention in 1902.

Democrats just advanced a constitutional amendment to end that system, and massively expand rights restoration:

The measure’s fate likely hinges on this fall’s legislative races: Lawmakers will need to pass it again next year. In the meantime, Glenn Youngkin’s harsh restrictions remain in place.

resharing for newer followers: STATE supreme courts are immensely important for what's next, as progressives hope they can be a place to turn to on issues from abortion to democracy while the right cements federal courts.

so i took a turn at the supreme court results in all 32 states that had them.
How Supreme Court Elections Set the Stage for Coming Battles, from Voting to Abortion
More than before, progressives working to protect people’s rights will need state supreme courts to be hospitable to lawsuits that are increasingly dead on arrival at the federal level.
