A year later? I think he was already doing so as soon as he got out of jail in spring 2014 (and possibly before he went to jail) after /pol/ was founded in 2011 www.haujournal.org/index.php/ha.... These were known rumors among some hackers. I hope this email brings something to light either way

When I ran into you in Syracuse I had just come from Upenn where I delivered a talk on this topic so very much on my mind. If you'd like I can share it. I know you are working on some similar stuff from a pretty different angle

Agree, just think there is a resurgence of naive liberal epistemology rn (in the face of mis/disinfo) that is making science & scientific consensus seem far simpler than they are. Brushing these types of problems under the rug when we defend science always backfires & backfires spectacularly today

We can defend some but not all elements of big pharma, it's kinda that simple and that hard. It is not an easy line to walk, but we can't just support everything they do as we try to ensure they can continue to do their work in the face of a very anti-Pharam administration.

Relatedly, Big Pharma has a bad rap for a reason :( "Over the past year, we have spoken to scores of families whose lives have been torn apart by impulsive behaviours caused by a family of medications known as dopamine agonist drugs." So what do we do? www.bbc.com/news/article...
