There’s a rat hiding out in my kitchen. I’ve been trying to burn lavender scented incense because I heard they don’t particularly care for the smell. It’s seemingly been working, but I’m ready to turn in for the night and I can’t keep burning incense.

There was a sequel made in 2019. It was edited into the first film and released into Japanese theaters as Cencoroll Connect.

Cencoroll (2009) was the sole effort of Atsuya Uki. He wrote, directed, designed, and animated this 30-minute short film about shapeshifting monsters, the high school boys’ who control them, and the inquisitive girl who gets mixed up amidst the chaos of it all. A wonderful little creature feature.

Watching Robotech alongside Dragon Ball Z and Sailor Moon solidified that I needed more of whatever this anime thing was.
