i think the phrase "people don't know what they want", can apply in the direction of, people will follow the direction of other people and enjoy slop and garbage,
but also, you should be more willing to put a complex project out there and garner a following without dumbing down the product

i think eating out at a restaurant is too normalized and people have such a weird view of them.

I think Amen Thompson developing a jumpshot runs the risk of incurring opportunity cost. When a guy has shown you how much value he can provide in the half-court via cutting, rebounding, and finishing plays at the rim, why not maximize those abilities?
