Got a big boost of inspiration from an artist that I talked to and reworked the fins for both of my Somnacanth ladies. This is sort of similar to how their fins used to look when the were first created, but this time it’s more coherent.

Never be afraid to wear your insperations on your sleeve, genuinely.
I have a character that is literally just AOSTH robotnik in all aspects and he’s literally one of my favorite ocs I’ve made. Never feel guilty if you feel like you “stole” a design, if it’s unique enough that’s what matters!

Don’t be afraid to make changes to your characters. If you wanna add some detail, then add some! Nobody can force you to not do whatever you want with your characters.
