Noticed Christmas stuff already being put out back in August or September prior to halloween stuff even being put out, not to mention thanksgiving/autumn seasonal. Most places here give Christmas 3-4 aisles worth meanwhile halloween gets 1 if you're lucky, the majority of which is full of candy 🙄

Congrats to those who have gotten the books (either the 1st or the 2nd), because not only do you have a piece of toy history but you have a piece of art history

What's happened is incredibly sad, especially since the 1st was only listed for a year & the 2nd had only been listed for 5 months

Update:

Prescott Hill was requested to remove the post not by hasbro but by his wife, however the head of licensing of hasbro DID request the removal of the books from Amazon.

The books are now delisted, and display as "out of stock -- limited avaliablity" as of this morning (10/20/2025)

Although their numbers hard to determine in the wild, experts believe that populations continue to dwindle due to deforestation, poaching, illegal mining and other human threats.

One of the things that always boggled my mind was finding out that not only are okapis and today's modern giraffes related but they are predicted to be the last two remaining species of their family (giraffidae).

🪷 Fur 🪷

I personally find drawing fur very soothing and mentally relaxing, and it often allows me to hyper focus while simultaneously often quieting my mind ~ 💕

Really thankful that bsky finally instated a "bell" notification system, this way I can actually finally get notified and see when people I like post stuff instead of it being a roulette like on IG or other platforms.

my phone goes off nonstop but I'd rather that be the case than not see any art.

Forcing a day off, & I'm failing miserably because I just want to draw & there's this nagging feeling that I "should" be drawing

It definitely sounds frustrating! Especially because it distorts your work - I noticed a couple of the previous uploads and the pixelization was definitely doing a massive number on it. But I'm glad you were able to find a fix, because it's such a pretty piece!!

Honestly, as a bat fan, I love your bat art! Plus your work is stylized which means you can take away or add as you please

But if this drives them that batty, then maybe they should block/mute you for their own mental well-being. Not everything in art is meant to be this serious or photo-realistic.

Remove the listings (previously listed on Amazon), and prevents further publication of the LPS art books. Then shortly after Prescott Hill was forced to remove that announcement from his IG (this info is provided with screenshots by the LPS community on reddit)
