A satisfying before/after photo....

Our Advocacy Director @prinzrob.bsky.social was biking to teach a "Hazard Reporting" workshop in Hayward, and stopped to mark/report this pothole.

3 days later, the City of Hayward had it filled. Awesome.
A residential road in Hayward, with a major pothole circled in neon green spray chalk. A few filled potholes surround it. The same road, but now the circled pothole has been filled!

“The price paid for these chases is too often paid by community members and bystanders like Dr. Marvin Boomer. We should focus on solutions and interventions that create safer streets through street transformation, not by making our streets battlegrounds.”

Really cool new program from @cityofoakland.bsky.social: residents 18+ can rent an ebike for 4 weeks! It only costs $120 (or just $20 for low-income families). Super stoked to see this finally launch, and bring folks more transportation choices.
