BikeLoud is a nonprofit full of people trying to help Portland be a city where one quarter of all our trips are done on bicycles. Bikes are an equitable affordable solution for our climate emergency. When we ride bikes, we feel better! bikeloudpdx.org
Thank you for your work on #StopSuperSpeeders legislation and congratulations! We expect Oregon to pass a similar bill soon.

But the question remains, why is this hit & run drunk driver who caused multiple collisions and a death still allowed to drive at all?

It looks like Greeley School Zones have slightly wider painted bike lanes, on wide 40MPH stroads.

Have you lived or biked there? Would love to hear from everyday bikers from Greeley -- especially from women and families who tend to be more risk-adverse.

Google bike maps may show many green lines. Streetview shows narrow painted unprotected lanes on stroads.

Looked for bike infrastructure. This was the best from a quick search so far. Seriously. BikeLoud has some educating to do.

Greeley, pop. 108,000 (PDX has 652K) is also a little less than half as dense as Portland.

BikeLoudPDX has THREE bike-powered lead sweepers.
Wet leaves in bike lanes are a super dangerous slip hazard.

Our volunteers will keep sweeping!
Let's coordinate @pbotinfo.bsky.social to keep our streets safe for people who ride bikes.
Clean sweeps are super-popular!

BikeLoud's Slack #Sweeper channel has 84 members posting reports, requests & FAQs

Expect to see a LOT of photos, like this report of clearing around the Moda Center by BikeLoud Board Chair Eva Frazier

Interesting. So ATVs are the new micro-mobility vehicles?
