Very concerned about animal welfare, environment, climate change. Advocating for a fairer, kinder & greener world. European.
If the world didn’t know already, recent events have proved, beyond any reasonable doubt, that you cannot believe a single word the Trump regime says. Not one single word. Ever.

If a new app was produced which had, as its core features, the generation of sexual deep fake images of children and calls for a violent global far-right revolution, then not only would it be swiftly banned, but you wouldn't have a single mainstream politician willing to associate themselves with it

You only have to read some of the comments about the victim of the Minneapolis ICE shooting, saying she got what she deserved & actually mocking her to realise that a significant percentage of Americans are depraved & perverted savages.

Read more below on why I think it’s time to leave the cesspit formerly known as Twitter.

The ruling wealthy elite are afraid that their stranglehold hold on money and power, to the detriment of ordinary citizens, is finally being challenged.
Fiona's outburst was unpredictable and thoroughly exciting.

The Times is similarly unhinged but boringly predictable.

Time to banish the Times?

Good question. Young people are the future.
Yesterday a poll suggested @greenparty.org.uk under @zackpolanski.bsky.social are leading among young people.

Why are the young abandoning the Labour Party?

Renee Good, a citizen & mother was shot 3 times in the head, on camera, by a masked gang. She is smeared by Trump & MAGA lunatics.
May she rest in peace & her family find comfort.

Frankly the only surprise is it took this long.

The same people who spent yesterday, and the past five years, insisting a Black police officer who shot an insurrectionist breaking into the Capitol should be prosecuted are today bending over backwards to defend an ICE agent who shot a woman in her car in cold blood.

Scum.

Since Labour came to power the poorest have got poorer while the most affluent have seen their discretionary incomes rise by 10.3 per cent.

The old establishment parties exist to do one thing: protect wealth and power.

Only the Green Party would cut bills and tax billionaires.

No one is asking Wes Streeting to be a commentator.

Asking him to be a government minister when the whole world can see Trump breaking international law whilst threatening Greenland next, and the Cabinet (with Nigel Farage) seems perfectly fine with it.
Wes Streeting is asked if Trump has broken international law when it comes to Venezuela. Streeting says he's got nothing to add and he's not here to be a commentator.

I mean, which idiot thinks politicians should answer questions when they're being interviewed in a TV studio!

Most importantly, Miller is wrong. Plenty of stable societies existed that did not conform to his "iron laws". Such "laws" might apply, however, to centralised, hierarchical political systems, especially those dominated by psychopaths like Stephen Miller.
"We live in a world, in the real world … that is governed by strength, that is governed by force, that is governed by power. These are the iron laws of the world since the beginning of time."

And with these words, Stephen Miller damns his soul to hell for all eternity.

X is owned by a Nazi. It promotes the far right and calls for civil war and the overthrow of our govt. Its algorithm suppresses liberal voices. Its bots spew out disinformation and its AI tool posts abusive images and CSAM.
The “counter narrative” to that has to be to regulate it or shut it down.
Cabinet Office Minister Baroness Anderson tells the Lords the Government will keep on using X.

"I still believe that X is an appropriate platform to use because I believe in freedom of speech..."

"It is incredibly important that there is a counter narrative on those platforms," she says.

The majority of women, instinctively, are nurturers.
Throughout history women have endured abuse from men - often the perpetrators are their partners.
Brave women fought, some died for equality and voting rights.
Say no to misogynists.
