Just finished this brilliant account of murder and atrocity in Belfast in the 1920. If you want to understand the origin of NI “troubles” I thoroughly recommend this book

Finally finished reading the follow up to Empireland - Empireworld. Not a comfortable read by any stretch but hugely informative and written in a very clear style. Essential history relevant to today’s UK situation
