I used to love this place as it has a really interesting outdoor seating area great coffee, and interesting vibe but the owner of this place I have watched verbally abuse her employees and it's disgusting. I remember going in one day and watching one of the baristas look like she was noticeably afraid of her employer like she was walking on eggshells and it was very odd and noticeable. I thought this lady might've been stressed out to work there. A few weeks later, I was going by this place as I live nearby and I saw this owner of this coffee shop, screaming at the top of her lungs in the face of this same barista.
Just verbally ripping into her verbally, abusing her something is wrong with that lady. Anytime I'm around that owner of this shop. I get the icky feeling. I've watched her scream at the top of her lungs in the face of someone who was just trying to do their best working for her. Everyone is stressed lady, some of us more than others, you don't take your stuff people.... I felt incredibly bad for that barista who appeared to be a middle-age mom type of person. I will never return to this place even though it was so close by and had an interesting unique vibe, loving small business. I will never go here again lady you need therapy to apologize to that chick..

the family of red tailed hawks that got scared away from their stand of trees in my backyard by the big construction project and removal of some of the neighborhood trees a few years ago has returned :) i hear them going KEEEEAR!!! up there and also i hear the crows absolutely fucking furious

any idk notable arrests? i cannot believe she was rude to our fucking mayor. i have met our mayor and he weighs about 90 lbs soaking wet and he is painfully polite. he looks like a geography teacher. it's like being rude to a geography teacher. leave him alone

it’s donut and pie season and I just want to remind the nation that there is no nutmeg in connecticut, that is a tropical plant. The state is called the nutmeg state because early yankee peddlers used chunks of wood carved to look like nutmeg to trick people into trading them for better goods
