Howdy @rollovereasy.org…The Hudson River is freezing over but the hot exhibit is quintessential SF artist Ruth Asawa at MoMA. ‘Two Degrees of Copy’ is from the B.Hutch archive. Need to hear what’s happening art-wise from your guest Erin Feher.

Maggie O’Farrell at Rizzoli Bookstore today — said she was intent on Paul Mescal playing William Shakespeare, that filmmaker Chloe Zhao ‘has the most extraordinary memory…and is really good at externalizing what characters are feeling.’ And the author did decline a cameo.

Tis the season @rollovereasy.org … Wild, crazy #SF knows how to raise the roof during December. Why can’t our city have @treetwins.bsky.social spreading joy. B.Hutch studies his archives, draws what he sees — really & in his dreams.

You @rollovereasy.org are in misting, sweet SF while we’re on Hudson River’s edge. Happily, on both coasts one can wander through bucolic botanical gardens. Horse drawn carriages remain in Central Park & B.Hutch is now painting on broken plates so I have to guard the china cabinet.

Especially enjoy the part @rollovereasy.org when hard-hitting journalists ask ‘if there were NO lines anywhere — where would you go for breakfast?’ B.Hutch & I like to greet the day in North Beach at boho, mellow Caffe Trieste where we luxuriate in pots of tea & Italian pastries

Every October 9, a crowd gathers in Central Park’s Strawberry Fields to dance, sing & celebrate John Lennon’s birthday. One addition this year: a vibrating Tibetan foot bowl placed on the Imagine mosaics to help people feel grounded.
