and that's why most comments u read here are wrong. If someone dies in Jan, SocSec pays them their benefit for Jan in February. It's the Feb deposit (the Jan benefit) that needs to be stopped or returned.

The simplest reason that Trump should not cut NIH overhead rates is that it is illegal.

The reason it is illegal is that Congress passed a law to stop Trump from changing the rates the last time he tried to do so.

The law is clear; the only real ambiguity is whether Trump still follows the law.

Not as clear as that. She left her chair position in April and was at the Capitol in November. Looks like she faded away, wasn't clinging to power.
