i really think there is legit political space for running on "we are going to dismantle ICE"
How it started vs. How it’s going NOW 👀

Best part of this is that the bike is UNDOUBTEDLY owned by one of the “dudes” who works in grounds or is an athletics staffer.

A pattern is developing where everyone who fights back against a Trump attack inevitably wins with their reputation much better than before, and everyone who caves to him looks like shit and has Trump coming back for more a month later.

Cory Booker has held the Senate floor for 17 hours and 21 minutes.

The record of 24 hours and 18 minutes is held by segregationist Strom Thurmond, who spent that time protesting the Civil Rights Act of 1957.

I am pretty sure Booker would not mind changing that history.

I don’t know if @edsbs saw halftime of the Wisconsin game but Chuck trying to name mascot dogs and the school they belonged to was absolutely incredible.

Honestly, it really tears me up how shameful we're being to Canada. We (belatedly) fought the Kaiser with Canadians, we fought Hitler with Canadians. Canadians fought the Taliban with us.

I didn't vote for this administration, but this is my country and the shame of it sticks with me.

f you were wondering why I love a podcast about college football that rarely talks about college football if it can help it, it’s because this community of weirdos looks at a video like this, and sees the objective beauty in it AND can explain why it is beautiful.

Also because of the silly voices.
It wasn't just the song, it's this particular video of it, where the dancer is looking straight ahead the whole time while the band rips through their version of the song

it's the tension between the two that always made it so moving to me

This is an incredible summation so perfectly explains how I feel about just getting to WATCH him (and his idiot-savant crew) do this for a living.

If they can anyone can. Find that joy in whatever you do, and you can find the grace in “getting to do this, whatever this is”, for a living.
which is kind of how this goes: I'm convinced I've lost something, only to find someone else carried it forwards for me and handed it back to me for the low price of nothing

It's a little grace, like getting to do this for a living
