Because Labor is captured by the big end of town, party politics is not democracy.

The award should go to the person (& it will be a person) at the ABC that has ordered the sanitising of content from Palestine.

For anyone travelling in rural Australia in any type of vehicle 'range' is a consideration. The ABC, with their coverage of the entire country could be more balanced when discussing the topic. And, agree, a poor description suggesting anxiety.

Party politics is not democracy.

Yeh! Best to just sit on the couch and grow fat. That's safer!

Party politics is not democracy!

The Greens are just another example of party politics deferring to an unknown lobby group. Party politics is not democracy.
November 24, 2025 at 8:25 PM
And Labor have skewed right with @albomp.bsky.social , leaving a void to the left. Unions are captured by big business and students don't appear to be agitated by anything. I wonder who will initiate revolution?
November 23, 2025 at 10:28 PM
The Greens are proof that party politics is not democracy. They stand for nothing, they can be bought.
November 23, 2025 at 9:35 AM
It will take a revolution, protest doesn't work, I think it will take a return to the Guillotine?
November 23, 2025 at 9:34 AM
Party politics is not democracy, only community independents truly represent their electorate.
November 23, 2025 at 5:28 AM
And, although much has changed, much has stayed the same. We need a revolution, protest is not working.

We must stop focussing on the irrelevant Libs and Nats, because the distraction is allowing Labor to trash our environment without scrutiny. Net Zero is useless as a tool to arrest climate change because it is so easy to fudge the numbers, and Labor are excellent fudgers.

The billionaires and the fossil fuel industry have captured @albomp.bsky.social & Labor. It is those influences that have directed the government to reduce funding to an organisation that can expose the lies spun by the fossil fuel industry.
November 19, 2025 at 8:19 PM
Party politics is not democracy. The parties main existence depends on just two major parties . They will do anything they can to stifle scrutiny, and billionaires prosper from the duopoly also. And, billionaires are mostly in the extraction industries. Follow the money.

Why is a policy proposed by an ineffective oppostion even getting air time?
