Don't forget that the elected officials of your state still will listen to you! You have a voice! Use it to weigh in on cabinet picks and policy proposals. This wasn't a landslide and the senate will be facing midterms in two years.

It is not wise to piss off our biggest trading partners without first boosting our own manufacturing and farming infrastructure. An incentive like the Chips Act is the first phase to building internal industry, not a tariff that the public will pay.
