It sucks but if you want to stick with PF you can create or join groups at that prog point instead of starting fresh each time. It is annoying though I feel you.

The issue I could see with a device like this (which at the end of the day is just a small PC) is if they subsidize it... there's no guarantee on return on investment. There's nothing keeping people in Steam, or even from a corporation just buying them as work PCs for their offices.
