Reconnecting the Rockies - BC is focused on improving motorist and wildlife safety on Highway 3 in SE BC. Already, 8.4 km of fencing has been installed and 6 underpasses have been retrofitted to allow for wildlife movement!

Over the next five years, the Government of Alberta is building #wildlife crossing structures along Highway 3 — and we're part of a team studying how animals use these crossings.
