I wanted to get a video of this ghost crab but every time I got close to their hole they scuttled back in, so I tried getting clever with it. I made a little sandcastle and shoved my phone into it, hit record, and walked away. Crab was VERY suspicious of this addition to their environment.

The important part is that I learned the best way to submerge headfirst into the sculpin tank while someone held MY ankles per facility protocols and then I taught the next person how to do that

The only problem with this thing is my friend found it in a discount department store that only ever has one of anything so I'll never be able to find another one or tell anyone where to get it

The weird depth and orientation of the grabber bits inside the clip mean it is absolutely and inarguably useless, but I'm keeping it forever and I'll figure out a way for it to actually stay in my hair if it kills me

My roommate got home from errands the other day and said she got me something "because you've been going through it lately" and they say money can't buy happiness but your friend CAN buy you a snail hairclip and I'm not sure there's a difference

I will go back to making my tiny little goofs that I can finish in a single day (after I finish a second, other baby gift cross stitch pattern I also bought and started, why, why did I do this)

I like to make silly little 3inch cross stitch patterns myself but I decided to buy a pattern for the first time as an incoming baby gift for my 5-year-D&D-campaign friends, and a) professional artists are way better at colours than me but also b) oh my god it took so much work, oh my god, my arms,

Important lunchtime conversations have been happening at work. Like yesterday we asked the seabird person which is the most trustable bird? An hour later we had listed many, many birds and all of them were declared to be at the bottom of the list

The reason I continued my education to so-called loftier heights is solely so that when I sit at the lunch table with friends and say something like "wait NDT versus NST means daylight savings or not??? I thought they were just interchangeable" they can then reply "Sophie you have a MASTERS DEGREE"

so far my strategy was as follows:
a) get really into automation games
b) be given coding task at work that is like automation
