I mistakenly thought a praying mantis painting would be on the simpler side of things. I was wrong.

When it comes to tales about strange things happening on a journey, this one is hard to beat. Being transformed into a human candle so he couldn't return home probably wasn't in this guy's travel plans.

My first pseudoscorpion observation was pure luck. Happen to see this wasp and took a shot. It was only later did I see what was hanging on the antenna.

On iNaturalist [ www.inaturalist.org/observations... ]
A brown pseudoscopion hanging on to the antenna of a wasp. The wasp is yellow with black stripes and transparent wings.

i should start invoicing per scale
franzanth.bsky.social
true i once considered invoicing clients based on the number of legs but this would backfire spectacularly considering fishes exist

the bug gods have blessed you

coincidentally last month someone asked me for permission to use an illustration of pseudoscorpion riding a beetle that i made... except i've never done one? i think?

i've done so many bugs i don't remember them all but i wonder if the internet hallucinated something again

my biggest complain about these tiny creatures is that they're so adorably smol, i have yet to photograph one in the wild

My latest for @bizarrebeastsshow.bsky.social concerns these li’l cuties that live in our homes and ride around on other bugs.
