DAI definitely feels like it could've been amazing, after all, a lot of the writing is great, but the handling of everything else tanked it bad. I will finish it for sure, but I probably won't sink as many hours as I did in DAO and DA2 lmao

The management of Requisition missions to get power to gain access to main quests, the influence level, leveling it up to get traits, some of which you absolutely have to get or it makes everything else even more tedious. It just feels like too much all at once. Some things should've been cut, ngl

It gets VERY overwhelming, like, should I just completely explore one area before going to the next? When do I do main quests? Is there a point of no return? And then you add on top of that the amount of padding the game has. Between the war table wait time, the gathering of resources

After playing DAI for 40 something hours, I think I can finally put my thoughts into words. The story is interesting, some of the companions quests are banging, there's some genuinely good writing in there. But it all falls apart because it's.. Too open? You have access to every area out of the gate

god I feel that. Had to wake up at 5am for work and it feels like the 5 cups of coffee I got throughout the day aren't enough 🫠

Made that mistake more than once.... Pros: you get cool tiger stripes. Cons: that shit HURTS. Specially in hairy areas 😭
