Although we are working tirelessly with union members and full-on orgs to join forces & demand better conditions for all, we are not a labor union. We aren’t suggesting a union only strike… we are amassing enough fed up Americans for a #massstrike.

a lot of people don't realize that a general strike is not necessarily a labor union-sanctioned action, and that anyone - especially non-union labor - can participate.

Went to a good protest formed by a local @indivisible.org chapter, very kind organizers, met some amazing people. Get out and protest! It feels difficult meeting new people sometimes, but at protests like these you know you’re among good people! I encourage you if you feel defeated, get involved!

The temp workers at my job are precious, generous, kind, gracious people. Most are not US citizens.
I told them today that if they ever felt unsafe at home because of the ICE raids happening around the country, to call me and I'd figure out a way to harbor them.
