We have been trying to organize a general strike before Trump. We actually started in 2022, due to the overturning of Roe, but also the below. This is a country with so much wealth, and yet treats its residents like garbage, unless it’s for war; then get the premium treatment.
A $1.5 trillion Pentagon budget would be a war budget everywhere. We need this money to help struggling people.

This is terrible. There are no words to encapsulate how this WHOLE experience has been - watching it unfold in real time. The violence on communities. We have to get organized. It’s not even about joining us. It’s about joining SOMETHING.
This is what happens when untrained ICE agents who meet the lowest possible standards are sent to play action hero.

Federal immigration agents have now shot and killed multiple people since Trump took office a year ago. Today alone marks the second deadly ICE shooting IN A WEEK. An off-duty shot and killed a 43-year-old father in CA on Dec. 31.

Sunday evening, a crowd of about 50 gathered at the Village Pointe apartment complex in Northridge to grieve Keith Porter Jr., who was fatally shot on New Year's Eve by an off-duty ICE agent.

Live a sustainable lifestyle while removing your support for the capitalist oligarchy: buying something new should be the last resort. Instead: make do without, mend & repair, buy second hand, etc. As consumers we have the power in this consumption driven economy.
