So... A day the brilliance worked for Franjo, whilst Odi under performed by his standards :( The Italians handled the pressure -Franzoni kept his recent form & Paris is on the Stelvio so duh he got a result, he always does here :)

BTW, away from the O for a second. You know I was talking about idiot fighting in hockey? I give you exhibit A, the game this week between the Panthers and Lightning. Congrats to the officials for keeping track of all the penalties - of which there more more than minutes in the actual game all told

Been thinking about Lewis' interview at the end of the shakedown. For someone who has been said to v much not like testing he sounded positively giddy, then talking about promo stuff (something no driver likes) and the funny bit when he was teasing about Charles. Hope his positive vibes last :)

Well that caps a weekend of some seriously shitty results across the sports I follow. Thank goodness for The Cottage (AND Ep 5 - no I've still not recovered). Oh and it may be time to consider if there's a curse for Odi and the Kitzbuhel DH :(

Just checked in with how things are going at Daytona & I'm getting flashbacks to Le Mans a couple of years ago. Then it was rain, now it's the fog but 2 hours under FCY - have we reached the point of shopping lists etc to keep the drivers focused

If nothing is done by the FIA about the rumoured engine 'cheating' by certain OEMs, the season is over before a wheel has been turned. So yeah I'll follow the launch today & be as charmed as ever by the fans and their songs & banners, but that might be as far as my 2026 engagement goes lol

Things you don't expect to see - the Porsches at the back of their grids. Teething trouble with the 911 GT3 Evo maybe? Who knows, but plenty of time to iron out issues if they exist. Something to keep an eye on though. In other news the Triarsi cars are sooooo pretty *sucker for a good paint job*

Ohh there's been a change - they're doing 2 eps a week (maybe because all the eps are actually available to stream anyway) for HR. Though I'm not sure if I'm going to cope with 5 AND 6 back to back next week!

Whenever they air the next match (doesn't seem to be another one this week) I'm considering a new game. Given I don't drink I can't do a drinking game, so instead I'm thinking of eating a biscuit every time there's a fight - I think it might need more than 1 packet ....

Urgh I am reminded that one of my absolute HATES about watching hockey is the utterly juvenile, pathetic, totally unnecessary fighting. Grow the eff up. (Brought to you by the fact NHL games are now available on uk terrestial tv, I'm only watching till the PWHL game starts streaming mind)

Wengen is always my fav DH, partly because I've been there & walked part of the course (in summer!) & partly because it is SUCH a test. It was 1 min shorter than it should be due to weather BUT that doesn't take away from how stunning a ski this was by Odi :) #homeoflegends
