Metroid Prime 4 finished! A solid 8 out of 10. Exploration suffered and scanning felt a bit inconsequential, but the new cast was mostly fun and the final boss was genuinely interesting. The ending is kinda eh and I still don’t give a crap about Sylux, especially when Raven Beak has way more menace.

My Christmas haul from my mom and grandparents! My old monitor couldn’t display my Switch 2 after getting a 4K capture so now I don’t have to play off OBS. And the 1TB micro sd express was expensive but now I don’t need to worry about space. Cannot wait to play Trails and Pac-Man!

I’m quite pleased with how this set turned out. I had fun putting it together and there’s some great details.

I’m feeling much better than this morning. Maybe about 85% to normal. So I can show off the wonderful gifts Aimee and the kids got me. Believe it or not, this is my first ever personal LEGO set.

Was suddenly reminded of Jade Cocoon while chatting with @brandonbovia.bsky.social tonight. I don't think many people even remember that this was a joint project with Studio Ghibli. I remember demos of it, but never picked it up. There were just so many PS1 RPGs to play.

5 years ago, my little buddy Kai was born. He’s wild, stubborn, smart, independent, and I love him more than anything. He has the day off preschool thanks to Election Day (Go Vote!) so we’re spending it together by hanging out and picking out his cake later. Happy birthday son!

I learned today that this piece of art, which I found on a high profile gaming website is not official at all. It’s fan art by someone named thduplus. But man it FEELS so authentic. Like THIS is official and I can sense no difference. It’s super impressive.

I've hit the big 4-0 today! Honestly doesn't feel like it. But while tonight's stream will be a normal one (starting Mega Man Battle Network 1!), I will be hosting a fun little sub-a-thon to celebrate this Saturday! It's a marathon playthrough of Xenogears which I haven't played since its release!
