How can two opposing things be true to people? For example, a die hard MAGA claims that socialism and communism will destroy our country in one breath and then cheer as their leader attempts to take control of the Fed and establish a demand economy.

The thing that worries me most about the recent video circulating of a DHS officer threatening people for filming is that he is wearing captain bars on his uniform. This guy is not a new recruit, he is a seasoned vet of this organization. His hateful views have been on the force for a long time.

My main form of employment is in content creation and I find it so difficult to try and create art right now when the world seems to be melting around me and my family. I refuse to just lament online about the issues as that is not my style.

I will say this once. Sharing ones opinion that ICE has overstepped their mission, sharing opinions that ICE is a violent paramilitary group, and sharing that ICE's mission is to terrorize the United States does not make someone a violent protestor nor a terrorist extremist. Fox News needs to stop!

the book of Ruth is one that really should be used more in modern society. The story of redemption through charity, loyalty, and strong love is a beautiful thing. I honestly think that if we all lived the way we are shown in this book the world would be a better place.

I honestly do not know how people can look at the forecast for christmas day and think that climate change is still a hoax. all i can do is pray that people will actually wake the F up and start to do something before our kids and grandkids no longer have a future.

can we all agree that the propaganda machine using images of childhood characters is disgusting in the most extreme sense. Using Franklin, Snoopy, Clifford, et al. for hateful content is like cigarette companies sponsoring candy aimed at kids. Absolutely disgusting.

I remember reading that during the american revolution many that were not in position to directly oppose the crown did so through letters to editors and anonymous articles written for local news papers. That is one of the reasons I started this account. I want to feel like I am doing something.

I find it interesting as the world crumbles how blind some people are to it all. I try to avoid the worst of the news and just stay informed but even I can see the parallels between history and present. I fear for the next ten years even if the current American regime is changed.

I am still upset that the DoD is now the DoW. I understand the idea that offense is the best defense, but to defend the innocent is an idea that America was founded on. To attack others is a return to manifest destiny and a black spot in our collective history. DoW is an act of aggression itself.
