I didn't have this symptom when I first got sick, but the past 4 years have been like whack-a-mole, trying to control symptoms as the disease progresses.

Usually, thin, hot, liquids are the worst culprits, specifically coffee, but any liquid might do it. Beyond the embarrassment, it can be painful and v difficult to clear out of my sinuses.

On the good day, my nurse came out masked and stayed that way, was efficient, and got me in and out as fast as possible.

Shit day gave me a migraine and a nurse who just failed to follow infusion instructions multiple times. Maybe if I didn't feel like hot trash, I would be more forgiving but also like, I do all my little steps to get ready, so it is frustrating when people don't put in the effort.

There is exactly one other country in which my skillset is applicable,
and they are only marginally
safer. But they also wouldn't let me move there anyway. The feeling of helplessness and being trapped is...not fun.
