Follow up, if your writing is so bad that you have fans trying to defend it as the writing being an illusion or a way to throw everyone off, then it's also not good writing!
Having all of your characters repeatedly sit in a circle explaining what they're going to do is not a good writing technique... No reason I'm bringing this up at all.
