The reason Republicans are currently enacting "investigations", legislation, gerrymandering, etc., to suppress voters is BECAUSE "down ballot" races in nearly 50 states are virtually impossible to rig. Unlike a presidential race where 2 candidates will receive the majority of the votes.
They needn't be so arrogant. Rigging the 1 race at the top of a ticket on the day of the election (as was done in Nov2024) is a lot easier than rigging multiple House and Senate elections across the 46 states with seats up for election in Nov2026.
