I’m sure there are GOP sweating possibility of something damning… but they are all cowards so I’m not putting much weight upon their anxiety over what ‘might’ happen when they could have already done their oversight job and and actively pursued truth.

And they will continue to cover for him right up until Trump actually loses MAGAt support…& absent something extraordinary-that’s unlikely.

It's all about self interest and holding onto power. Not a single one will do anything but obstruct until/IF something breaks that they can’t deflect or spin

If we are taking in “trillion” of dollars in tariffs:

1. Why haven’t we paid down a cent of the debt?

2. Why can’t we afford to not fuck millions of people over with expiring insurance subsidies?

3. Why is none of it being used to help the abysmal job market?

This administration is totally fine with more Americans getting cancer from water contaminants if it means corporations and their wealthy friends might keep a penny or two more. Insane.

The #EPA is now the Exploitation & Profiteering Agency.

I’d never heard of him before and it's not my preferred genre of music. But music of resistance was very influential in the 60’s. So I will purchase and support this voice of resistance and hope for more voices speaking truth to power through art… and pray that it sows some seeds.

CNN: “An older couple making $85K/year will see their yearly insurance premiums jump from $7K to $25,000 — 30% of their income.” 😳#TrumpShutdown #TrumpHealthCareTax

This is what Dems are drawing attention to and want fixed. Now, not later.

I fear if things don’t change right now, this image is going to come back to haunt us
Laura Rodriguez, on Twitter:

A federal agent points a weapon at a woman who was recording them.

Jess, a U.S. citizen and member of a neighborhood patrol team that documents and shares ICE activity across the city, was filming when the incident occurred earlier today in the Berwyn area.

Example of the stupidity of our healthcare system.

I have cancer. The cancer medication I take causes high blood sugars. Insurance approved insulin to address high blood sugars, but denied the needles required to administer the insulin.

It took 6 weeks to get the needles approved. 6 weeks

I would go for proverbial hang em out to dry. Air it all.

But not literally. They can sit in prison. Strip them of their privilege. Release all the info so the victims can successfully sue civilly. Drain all their $ away. They can live poorly in prison with no $ to pervert justice any further

He can’t release without incriminating himself.

Release and prosecute every perpetrator.

So true. The uber privileged. I have no doubt that it spans the political spectrum. The common denominator is privilege.

But Trump et al haven’t figured out a way to successfully target their enemies without incriminating themselves. So nope not buying the whataboutism.

I was vaccinated as a child and was ‘injured’ by being ‘denied’ opportunities with polio, measles, mumps, rubella etc.

I am thankful for those vaccines.

Idiots.

As a Minnesotan, I’m very glad we have a Sec of State, Steve Simon, willing to fight this. Now more than ever, down ballot elections matter. We have a sane Sec of State administering our elections & fighting for us rather than Kim Crocket - a Trumper 🤡 www.mprnews.org/story/2025/0...

I’m pretty sure I said, I’m not debating. I distinguisged the disenfranchised from the lazy voters you mentioned. But have it as you like. 👋
bkj741.bsky.social
There are definitely lazy and apathetic people in the American electorate. I’m not debating that. That is why I said distinguish the disenfranchised from them. It is important to remember that is a real thing and a real problem.

One example: Voter id laws in 36 states means 21 million Americans are at risk of disenfranchisement.

And I very specifically said ‘muzzle’ re gerrymandering. I was referring votes not having the same weight as others because of gerrymandering.
