Fun fact: The people at drug companies who print important directions and information on bottles are also the people who creat rice art.

The photo shows a grain of rice which is measured at 5 cm long, on the tip of someone’s pointer finger. In the same photograph, you can see a Rice Artist drew a landscape of a home, trees and mountains on the 5 cm grain or rice.

Happy National Adoption Day! 3 years ago, our daughter’s momma gave us the greatest gift. She not only gave our daughter a loving and safe home, but also expanded our family by staying in our lives. Some families aren’t trees, they’re orchards. #NationalAdoptionDay

I took my 2nd graders to the Brooklyn Bridge today. We’ve been reading about it’s history, and how it was built.
We don’t live far from the bridge, yet only two of my students had walked onto the bridge before. We need to get kids out of the classroom and into the world. #edusky
