Time to start gathering truth (as in a future truth and reconciliation) for the persecution of the migrant population. If I put a team for a second round of Torn Apart/Separados, who would be interested? (not saying this is happening, but not saying this is not happening either).

It is *very* important to understand that Jews were never the only target of the 1930s Nazis and they are not the only targets of today’s Nazis. A Nazi salute is not only antisemitic. It is also racist, ableist, and queerphobic.

The Humanities, The Arts are long term investments; that alone makes neoliberal governments disinclined towards them.
Worse yet the A & H as intrinsically run in net defiance to power, to bigotry, to individualism, to stagnation... their project is antithetical to any conservative politic

Our BGHRA Conference theme asks, what is next for us? what does justice look like? We wish to consider reparative justice and how, using this framework, we can reckon with state violence and displacement, as well as with family rupture. How are we healing? More info at:lhttp://bghra.org/cfp2025

A reminder for non-academics that if you ever can't find access to an academic's paper or article, you should feel free and encouraged to reach out to them to ask for a pre-print version.

They will not think of it as an imposition; they will, in fact, be EXTREMELY gratified by your interest.
