After thinking about it for a while I think my definitive GOTY has to be SRW Y.
That game had so many hype moments, the writing has been the best the series has seen in years, the new animations were insane and the OG characters were developed in a way that felt realistic.

Saw Top Gun for the first time today and I don’t see why this movie is beloved. The flight scenes were fantastic but outside of that it’s a very boring movie with stilted dialogue. Hopefully whenever I watch Maverick my opinion will have changed

TGA was okay this year. I still feel like last year was the best it’s ever been but there was some good pacing and reveals. The RE9 trailer and Star Wars Fates of the Old Republic game being big highlights for me.
Awards were very boring this year because the obvious pick was E33 this year.
