Just finished The Burning God by RF Kuang.

I think I said wow like 10 times after finishing. That was great. I’ll write my review on www.blairscott.uk/reviews in the next day or so. I want to think about it more!

About 2 thirds of the way through The Burning God by RF Kuang right now.

It’s sort of anticlimactic so far. I was promised a relentless pull of emotions but so far, it’s my least favourite out of the 3.

Still got a third to go though, so I’m hoping my opinion greatly changes soon!

Just finished The Dragon Republic by RF Kuang after finishing The Poppy War last week.

I think it’s better than the first book!

Hey so, I made a personal website today finally. It’s nothing too special but it does the job. I’ll be posting my book reviews there in due time!

Got a kindle for the first time. What a game changer. I’m able to read at night without a light on, able to hold my book easy in one hand, get books for cheaper, make big books feel more digestible, sync with audiobooks and so much more. I do miss turning a page, but still love it

Thinking of making a small book community website/app. Would this be worth while do you think?

So, it's been a couple days since I finished The Poppy War by R.F Kuang and I thought l'd share some details I liked, and details I didn't like about the book. (No spoilers)

First of all, I love it. It's perfectly paced and the evolution of the characters in one book is of a level —

I’m getting quite far into The Dragon Republic, and thinking I’ll take a break onto something else before I go to The Burning God.

I’ve had Malazan suggested to me lots. But, I hear it’s really challenging to get into. Is that true?

Just finished The Poppy War by R.F Kuang this morning.

This book was brilliant in lots of ways. The amount of times I audibly gasped, the amount you feel for Rin and other characters while also being shocked at the actions made. It’s very dark but was totally worth it. Started The Dragon Republic

Just ordered ‘The Poppy War” Trilogy set by R.F. Kuang. On a scale of one to ten, how good do you rate it? #booksky 💙📚

I love a good trump jab as much as the next person, but all the ridicule and childish attempts to belittle people on the right are a little unnecessary.

Shouldn’t we be a little more mature and not stoop to that level?

News reporters must be loving life this year so far.

It seems like what used to be huge stories for weeks are now happening every day.

Websites seem to follow almost identical design principles now a days. It gets boring and takes so much creativity out of an otherwise unbelievably creative field. This is awesome!
Why I 🧡 the web.

Someone built this:

"Instead of a boring scrollbar thought it would be fun to have an animated stick figure that walks up and down the side of your page when you scroll." 😍

This is so cool!
TIL: /usr/bin/sips on macOS

"sips" stands for scriptable image processing system, and can be used to convert image from the command line without

"It also supports executing JavaScript to either modify or generate images" 🤯

Forgot endgames were a thing in #Stellaris. I was enjoying simple diplomacy and growing my economy when all of a sudden 300k fleets came out of no where. But at least my pops got a 10% happiness boost from new edicts 😁

Why settle for “almost native” when you can go fully native? Integrating SwiftUI with React Native, you can use native components (like Slider and TabView) while keeping the power of React’s architecture. Read a step-by-step guide by @kwasniew.ski 📖 hubs.li/Q038zpVL0
