Have you considered that the users here just don't like obvious clout-chasing off of a woman's murder?

I see posts that do numbers here all the time. Maybe write better posts?

I enlarged the image, and my fight-or-flight instinct spiked for a fraction of a second when I saw the font

If I'm gonna hyperfocus on "design patterns" it better be from the start lmao. Refactoring working game code as shitty as mine is like defusing a bomb

I feel that way a lot of the time then I watch agdq, one of the most queer-friendly events of all time, raise over 2mil for charity and I get a sliver of my faith in (some) gamers back.

This is expected, react's been around for so long and the community has had time to get as huge as it is. Newer stacks don't have that, and it is a valid reason to pick react. I hope that these newcomers can get that community over time. More options is better imo

The app has been around awhile, and when they started react was the industry standard. But they really aren't doing anything fancy enough for react to be the "best" choice. Newer frameworks scale just as well, only difference is react has tons of industry and community support.

My opinion mainly comes from supporting a very large org's react product and codebase. I learned svelte on my own time, so nothing huge, but I could tell that many orgs (like the one I worked for) don't use react for what it is really good for and would probably be better off with another stack.

Svelte is easily the best of the web frameworks I have used imo. Honestly I feel like there are multiple frameworks better than react, that only aren't used as much as react because of react's massive early adoption.

They are really hoping to squeeze in some investor hype real quick before the bubble pops aren't they.
