The idea that our demand for human rights and equality has to be packaged perfectly with a bow on top is tiresome. Hopefully this moment demonstrates how the failure to address law enforcement excess is now (through ICE actions) recognized as a threat to democracy in this country.

I remember renting this when it released but it didn't really click for me. Eventually I concluded I just wasn't into "realistic" racers, I needed a cartoon-y or scifi element ala Mario Kart, F-Zero, Sonic racing games, or Wipeout

For me, it's that there are actual VHS tapes out there of people awkwardly putting themselves out there. I want to see those videos although I imagine they're mostly unremarkable. We've seen plenty of comedy bits about awkward dating videos like
