He was famously incompetent, yeah. A lot of Nazis were executed by Albert Pierrepoint who was highly competent at his job and compassionate, the unlucky ones got the bungler Woods. There is a theory that this was deliberate on the part of the Americans, who wanted to “make them suffer a bit”.

And Rhodesia was never a recognised country - it only existed because whites who couldn’t stand the British terms for independence, namely majority rule, declared independence unilaterally. It was a racist pariah state kept alive by clandestine assistance from apartheid South Africa.

I got the Pi 500 with the mechanical keyboard and it’s.. not going to lie, it’s remarkably usable as a desktop machine.

Nah, the keys aren't squishy enough and you don't need to use mysterious key combinations just to enter BASIC keywords.

The story behind iodised salt is incredible. It's hard to think of a public health intervention that has led to a bigger improvement in overall quality of life in a community. Possibly even more significant than vaccination in the case of rural Switzerland. www.samw.ch/dam/jcr:8b2c...

The President of Austria once got ticketed under the COVID rules for staying too late hanging out with friends on a cafe terrace after closing time. Poor guy was so embarrassed.

Especially when those tech magnates' money comes from feeding their machines with the labour of thousands of "independent contractors" who are so expendable that when they are injured, killed or collapsed from exhaustion they're just moved out of the way and replaced. That could never happen!

Looks the guy with his leg on backwards' missus also has a leg on backwards. I would ask if they met at a support group but support groups are woke and didn't exist back in the day so I bet they actually met while trying to use a chained up fire exit in a burning nightclub called "Razzle-Dazzle".
