Matrons were not happy cuddly ladies . They were fierce and had to be obeyed so their hospital ran without a speck of dirt or a hospital corner at the wrong angle..

It goes in stages. Trip up, followed by trip-splat, when you don’t seem to be able to stop the fall. Then had a fall. I’m in the trip splat stage and was ridiculously happy when I managed tripping up without splatting recently. Also do trip slips and falls assessments everywhere I go.
