The moon was shining so brightly through my window last night! The moon is a good reminder that even though we may not see the sun at night, it is still there, much like hope when our world is plunged into darkness.

Just a regular Saturday afternoon at my parents’ eating cake and ranting about the current state of affairs.

Happy Sunday! My father always says that we should hope for the best but plan for the worst. Spending a little time this morning doing just that.

For me, the sky represents endless possibility - the chance to soar. I think it’s important to remind ourselves that we each have the right to soar, especially as others try to limit our freedom to do so.

There is something about Robin Wall Kimmerer’s writing that just puts my soul at ease. The way that she connects her observations of the natural world with the value & necessity of gift economies to human society leaves me feeling like there is still hope for our world.
