Sitting out back with my coffee and a book is becoming my new favorite morning routine. Although, I need more plants to complete my patio paradise. #sunday #sundaymornings #freshstart #renewedmind #renewedspirit #morningroutine #chill #summer

Any semblance of hope that women still have a future to do and be what they want within whatever social sphere they choose is a welcome gift this Mother’s Day. #mothersday #happymothersday #feminism

It is glaringly obvious that the only research this administration cares about, in respect to women, is how we can produce more children.

Well, no surprise here: A new study from the Gender Equity Policy Institute (GEPI) found that women are 2X as likely to die during pregnancy in states with abortion bans. Twice as likely.

Meanwhile, maternal mortality in pro-choice states fell 21%. jessica.substack.com/p/women-are-...

I am fully expecting my upcoming three years of law school to be possibly one of the CRAZIEST times in American history to be attending law school.

The moon was shining so brightly through my window last night! The moon is a good reminder that even though we may not see the sun at night, it is still there, much like hope when our world is plunged into darkness.

The House just passed its budget resolution, so reconciliation is now officially underway. This is their bill to destroy Medicaid and SNAP while cutting taxes disproportionately for the rich.

THIS IS VERY REAL and can be enacted even if all Ds vote no.

Thread on what's to come and WHERE TO FIGHT.

I wouldn’t say that I wake up that chipper in the morning, but I definitely relate to the sense of dread that sits in the pit of my stomach when I look at my phone each morning.

We've contributed to the $30.5K reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the killing of this federally protected wolf.

This quote has been stuck in my head recently. I have not given up hope that our nation can still be rooted in democracy and move towards progressive policies that benefit its citizens.

Recently, I realized that my nervous system is most calm when everything around me seems to be falling to crap; my body & brain feel most calm in the midst of chaos. While I recognize this is not a good thing, normally, it seems to be a real blessing considering the bizarre timeline that we’re in.

Yesterday, I accepted an offer of admission to law school and paid my seat fee for Fall 2025. I will be the first lawyer in my family. Despite everything happening in this country, I’m still going to find joy in this accomplishment.
