It's 7:14

I am about to jump on a bus & have a read of @zjayres.bsky.social book on Managing Your Mental Health During your PhD on my way to Derby Uni Campus as I start the beginning of my Undergrad course that I already have to play catch up on

Life is hella fun & bright atm

Because users can change their preferences and we don't tend to ship all the language packs for software with it for data transfer reasons & opt to install apps with a base language tied to the OS for the admin team & not the end users preferences for ease of troubleshooting issues not for funsies

Hybrids can but ensuring a hybrid setup that is future sustainable and maintainable is much more important overall.

Also you'd be surprised how difficult it is to find people willing to help diagnose batch scripts as we get many asks about them in the PowerShell Discord / Slack / IRC community

That's an easy fix and only needs version update and a new publish though 😜

Been roughly 3 months on and off trying to 100% #Slipknot #BeforeIForget on Guitar Hero 3 (a Game that still only works on the @xbox.com 360 due ot no Back compat for it 😔)

(2 attempts earlier 2nite I did 693 note streak & 98%)
Photo showing 100%, 752 note streak for Before I Forget by Slipknot on Medium on Guitar Hero 3 with a score of 19060 & 5 stars

Shows a version of Slash from Guns & Roses as the Guitarist.

Am actually glad I didn't yet kick off at @discord.com & appeal bcos this is exactly the sorta thing that I knew was going to happen

Also why I vehemently refuse to follow @bsky.app process to verify because most/all providers of age verification will be breached.

That & I have verified elsewhere
malwaretech.com
According to their blog: "The unauthorized party also gained access to a small number of government‑ID images (e.g., driver’s license, passport) from users who had appealed an age determination. If your ID may have been accessed, that will be specified in the email you receive."

Seeing this reminded me

@support.bsky.team and I have an ongoing (but dead) thread

I'm pretty sure being a Uni Student is more than enough of a verifiable identity

And as such should bypass any other checking services that they implement.

Windows Phone 7 was the best phone; it just didn't have any apps.

Yes, I'm still bitter I had to switch to Apple.

Watching Windows Phone faceplant was a true “the lone and level sands stretch far away” moment. Nearly inconceivable that Microsoft, the unstoppable titan of the industry for most of the previous 20 years, could fail so hard.

And yeah, a pity: WP7 and 8 were really neat.

The Cortana UX on Windows Phone was gorgeous by the design standards of the time.

It just looked so nice on the Nokia OLED screens.
