Faced with new UN-backed sanctions and a weakened military, Iran is desperate for a way out, Arash Azizi and Graeme Wood. “Although it still has options, all of them are bad”:
Iran’s Bad Options
At most, Iran can hope to wound America or Israel when attacked. But its own weapons can never win a war.

This is simple. Congress should not willingly pay the bills to fund the most serious assault on political freedom in our lifetime - an assault that may collapse democracy as we know it if we don't fight back.

Nearly 10% of humanity (~800M people in 2025) struggles to live on less than $3 a day. It’s important for Americans to appreciate that reality — and the growing gap between the extremely poor & the extremely privileged — because, as USAID demonstrated, our nation has the power to change it.

What Extreme Poverty Looks Like
Ten percent of humanity struggles to live on under $2 a day. That, and the gap between the extremely poor and the more privileged, is important to see.

It really is amazing how often you can repeat something Trump said verbatim without identifying Trump as the person who said it and Trump supporters will say it’s the dumbest thing they’ve ever heard.

This is bad; personally if I can read something I will avoid watching a clip about it. However we have to admit that old school forms of journalism are truly out of style and very few people use them. It's like going back to a time when most of the population could not read or listen to an orator.

MADELEINE DEAN: The president is unhinged. He's unwell

JOHNSON: A lot of folks on your side are too

D: Oh my god, please. That performance in front of the generals?

J: I didn't see it

D: It's so dangerous! Our allies are looking elsewhere. Our enemies are laughing. You have a POTUS who's unwell.

I learned more about physics from a man named Julius Sumner Miller than any other source — and it's because his show is one of the funniest, most memeable things you've ever seen.

I cut up the best episode . If you have 2m50s, watch it all. You won't regret it.
