ThreadJobs are supported on 5.1 just not there natively & needs installing from the gallery using the Microsoft.PowerShell.ThreadJobs module.

It's invoking them via Foreach -Parallel that isn't available on 5.1

Reminds me of in Server Manager & when you went through the Role & Features wizard you could copy the PowerShell for what you were doing so you could save it & reuse it across other machines for the same config.

Then came #DSC & it be grand if we could get DSC configurations generated in future.

Yeah particularly for things like 5min till a meeting, or when I wanna timebox a task and pick an album or one of a few different DJ sets to listen to that seem to work really well for me.

Nah this is just a mere minor blip in the much grander scheme of things & we still have more than enough time to recover and grow yet stronger than we were before leaving the EU.
