Worst of the week yet again is the NBA and possibly NBC, specifically those involved with the All-Star weekend.
Instead of waiting for the trade deadline to pass, they announced the rosters last night and divided the US team by age. So no draft, no extra content.

So I was right about Towns being on Team World and Kawhi being added. Unless Jokic says I’m out, Sengun won’t be there. Well at least, he can get some rest, without Adams, it will be a tough 2nd half of the season #NBAsky
They will probably put Towns in Team World meaning we will have 9 international players. So they will have to add 1 US player which could be Kawhi.
So they might not have to replace Giannis, as Team World will be 8 without him. That is bad news for Sengun’s All-Star hopes #NBAsky

The most impressive thing about Jokić's 15 assists is the fact that only 2 of them were what I call "NBA assists" in that they should not be counted. For example, here is his 3rd assist on a handoff to Murray who dribbles twice to turn the corner and a hesi dribble to get the layup #NBAsky

All-Star weekend was so bad, it made active players complain about NBA basketball being boring. That’s the result of the optimization of the game which forces teams to only take 3s or layups. So I looked at how similar teams have gotten over the past 20 years based on shot location. #NBAsky

This was a schedule loss for the Rockets as soon as that trade happened. There is no way they can stop an AD playing like it’s the Game 7 of NBA finals.
It will be their 6th straight loss, might drop to 5th before the All-Star break. Their 2nd half will be about hanging onto the 6th seed. #NBAsky

They were the worst in this last year as well when they allowed 13 40+ games to 12 different players, highest being the 51 pts by Edwards.
