That was 2017, so he will be 9 this year. If he doesn’t know already, it’s going to be hard to keep it from him at this point. I used to listen to Attia’s podcast until I read that story in his book. I was so disgusted I stopped and still can’t believe his wife didn’t leave him.

Me too. Unfortunately I’m in Hanoi, 12 time zones away for NY, so everything is hopping on Bluesky in the middle of my night ☹️ Trying to go back to sleep isn’t any easier if I don’t pick up my phone, so I usually rationalize by telling myself, “just check to see if 💀 yet”.

If you still have the book can you check something for me please? In the last chapter where his son is rushed to the ICU but he stays in NY, can you confirm the date he wrote was 7/11/17? A Redditor found this email that he had appt w/Epstein on 7/13/17. WILD if true www.justice.gov/epstein/file...

I lost interest when I read the last chapter of his book & how he dealt with his infant son’s illness (stayed NY - in Epstein’s apt apparently 🤮 - while his wife dealt with it alone in CA). That’s when I stopped listening to the podcast. Then there was the Spacey Instagram, now this? Super scumbag.

I came in partway through the convo and didn’t realize that Ireland had beavers. The proliferation of beavers in Tierra del Fuego was unchecked largely as a result of their being no natural predators. I assume in Ireland that foxes and hawks would perform that function?

You have to be extremely careful where you introduce them. Just 20 Canadian beavers and their descendants have spent most of the last century destroying Tierra del Fuego. I’ve visited this area and the destruction is devastating. www.nationalgeographic.com/animals/arti...
Argentina brought beavers to Tierra del Fuego. It was not a good idea.
In 1946, the government wanted to create a fur industry. More than 70 years later, it’s clear the ecosystem wasn’t meant to cope with them.
