I really don't understand your point. I don't see how that's waving anything away, it's being realistic about them. Anyway, nice interacting with you. Bye.

Surely the mind altering effects come when they're prepared properly.

Zyklon B presumably.

I didn't wave away the many(?) positive things they're doing, much like you didn't say KS is the best leader ever. It seems pointing out your fallacious argument upsets you, so let's leave it there. Have a nice life.

If you can honestly look at everything and think this government are doing a great job and KS is the best leader we've ever had (I can Straw Man too!) then there's not really much to be said to you that'll get through.

Well no, obviously not. But the real achievements (such as they are) won't even last as long as Sure Start did once Reform are in power, and the other one is still TBC. And the reason Reform will be in power is because Labour have blown it by being condescending and vindictive to their own base.

You mean every single person acting like a deranged fascist lunatic and trying to warp reality for the last decade is in the Epstein files?

That implies that the Tories were causing their carnage by mistake. The Tories are the Nasty Tories, they planned all the pain they caused and that was part of the appeal. This lot are the Incompetent Tories, they think they're doing good things, while destroying everything and alienating everyone.

The only positive about this bullshit is the dirty looks I get from people as I sail serenely past them and get served in seconds. No guilt at all, pub queue wankers.

Labour's arrogant assumption that they can depend on votes from leftists holding their noses has gone on too long and is a part of why we are where we are. I'd love parties to work together against Reform, but that needs trust and compromise. I don't trust Labour, and they don't compromise.

If Streeting is the answer I don't even want to know what the question is.

God I miss Blackadder.

So?

That'd be nice, but the stakes are too high to depend on it happening.

No denying that winning the GE was an achievement, but that was more out of rage at the Tories than enthusiasm for him. He is very very good internationally, but foreign leaders don't vote for our govt. All the signs available are that he's blown it, he's toxic to voters and won't win the next GE.

It's more a case that Starmer has been at war with the left since the moment he lied his way to the leadership. Burnham is smart enough to know that focusing your attacks on your own members rather than the fascist threat we're facing probably isn't the smartest strategy.

Great result for the voters of Manchester in the short term, but in 4 years time Prime Minister Farageski will be able to fuck them as hard as he fucks all of us.
January 25, 2026 at 1:58 PM
Will you be happy with Farage at the door of No 10? That's the road Starmer is marching us down. I'm no fan of Burnham, but Starmer and McSweeney just aren't up to the job.
