This has been the most fun tournament I've watched in years. If its because of tight pockets, then I say tighten 'em up more! Great fun! #snooker

Nigel Farage denies that he’s going to do a deal with the Tories, but then there’s this:

100% of Reform MPs ARE EX-TORY members;

616 (67%) of Reform’s 924 councillors are EX-TORIES;

21 EX-TORY MPs have defected to Reform.

Vote Reform, get Tories!

Are there any lessons here for Labour, perhaps? Yes.

This week Nathan Gill, Reform UK’s Leader in Wales will be sentenced for 8 charges of Russian bribes.

Here’s Farage calling him an “honest, decent and honourable man”.

Let’s not forget that whilst he was taking the bribes, Farage was making similar pro-Russian speeches in the European Parliament.

Nigel Farage says he wants to 'raise aspiration' by cutting the minimum wage for young people (currently £10), but reducing tax for young people earning over £100k. Presumably he wants them to just ask their stockbroker fathers to fix them up with a job in The City, like he did.

It's increasingly obvious that Labour's strategy - call it Starmerism, Blue Labour, whatever - has got it badly wrong. It has alienated the party's core vote while failing to win over those leaning to Reform. There was no shortage of people warning them they were getting it wrong either.
Three years ago, Labour was polling in the 50s.
